Talkeetna, Alaska annual Moose Dropping Festival that celebrates moose nuggets. The most unusual event during this festival is the dropping of a thousand moose nuggets from a hot-air balloon onto the crowd below.

So if you have not figured it out moose nuggets are the dropping of a moose.

Talkeetna – Moose Dropping Festival: Includes Mountain Mother contest, parade, booths, entertainment, the famous moose nugget toss game and moose nugget dropping contest.
